BlueWare Offers Electronic Forms System
Cadillac, MI--BlueWare officially unveils their electronic forms system to compliment the Wellness Connection Clinical Document Management system. The new system enables Wellness Connection users to access, complete, update, and view patient forms online—saving time and money for healthcare providers.
Healthcare providers often utilize paper forms throughout patient care, which can be costly and slow. Electronic forms save hospitals the hassle of scanning paper forms into a Clinical Document Management system or keeping a paper chart for each patient.
“Wellness Connection electronic forms will greatly enhance diagnostic decision making as all patient information is readily accessible”, says Rose Harr, President & CEO of BlueWare, “we are thrilled to be offering this efficient system to our customers”.
Clinicians and end users will be able to populate the patient forms using drop down options, radio buttons, check boxes and free form text fields. All captured information is stored as discreet data so that it can be data mined, but the real value lies in the ease of capture at point-of-care.
“Nurses will love it”, says Harr. In a study by the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association, electronic solutions can reduce the time spent on clinical documentation by up to 24 percent. This is valuable time that can be spent on better patient care.
